Talking Crit

Zadash is a large and complicated city.  There are things afoot in the city streets, and we're still trying to figure out who is going to land where on the spectrum.  A few giant rants, and a phase spider later, The Mighty Nein have some

THe Nerds

As the new year rolls around, we get the second half of Star Trek Discovery.  Jon, Lindsay, and Miles talk about what they taught about the first half.  It's not your normal Star Trek, and that's probably a good thing.  It's time to change how

The D&D Podcast

"Grungs, Germs & Steel" The terror in the jungle are large and undead.  It seems Chult has never dealt with its undead infestation.  Once those zombies get in, it's just tough to get them out.  They're like ants.  It has been a harrowing journey so far

Talking Crit: E60 The Double Episode

It’s two episodes for the price of one.  We go over Hush and The Gates of Zadash. we also theorize that Zadash is going to go a Les Miserables theme.  The elements of revolution are there, and we can see some NPC’s tell the story in the background.  Ulysses gives off a real Master of the House vibe for sure.  We still have a lot of Zadash to explore, and potentially have another NPC to meet.  Will The Ruby of the Sea make an appearance when she comes to drop off Jester’s cash?

Question of the Week is asking about Jester’s mom.  Will she make a cameo in Zadash, or will she appear later on?  Give your vote and let us know what you think.

There are a ton of shout outs this week, the first goes to @Auila009 for having the foresight to clip this video waaaaay back in Grog’s One shot.  It was later confirmed by Travis and Laura that he hid the obvious in plain sight.  This is one of those serendipitous moments that makes you smile.  Great job on recording the clip, also do you know what next weeks lottery numbers are going to be?

The second shout out goes to this awesome silhouette of the Ruby of the Sea done by The Lady of All Muffins.  It’s dark, it’s mysterious, and you get the feeling that you don’t mess around with this lady.  We know nothing about her, yet @Ladyofmuffins has given us this concept, this potential of what we can expect from her.  This is a great portrait that gives us personality with having little information about her; fantastic work Lady of All Muffins.

Shout out number three goes to Coupleofkooks and this awesome Shakäste portrait.  I’m a sucker for a good portrait, and this black and white image is breath taking.  It has a nice macabre feel to it, which may or may not hide what the blind cleric is all about.  The contrast and shading done with the light, the hair, and the face is what makes a black portrait a great black and white portrait.  It’s haunting, and it’s beautiful all at the same time.  You get that feeling of responsible power within Shaktäste.  We saw it in game, and now we can see it as an image.  Great job, Coupleofkooks, you captured this personality beautifully.

The last shout out goes to Cantata Pansophical and their finished project of Vox Machina: An Exandrian Musical.  This is an amazing project of passion.  Give it a listen and fall in love with all the songs.  This is perfect public transit listening, or getting to work music.  Raisin may have been a villain, but she steals the show.  It’s a labour of love that is worthy of all the praise it has earned.  The amount of work and love that went into this shows, and it is amazing.  Thank you to everyone involved for creating something so brilliant.

That is it for this week, please follow all the artists who we gave shout outs to.  They are all amazing and talented.  We will see you on Thursday night, don’t forget to give your vote for Question of the week.  Lot’s of love to all the Critters everywhere.
